(DESCRIPTION)
Scientists compare the event to the famous Rosetta Stone discovery that was key to reading Egyptian hieroglyphics.

Like the Rosetta Stone's three scripts, the solar event contained three eruption types that have never been seen together. Types of eruption: Coronal mass ejection, Jet, Partial eruption.

This event shows that these eruptions are cause by the same underlying mechanism. A red circle with a white line circle lies over the center of red and white eruptions. An arrow that points to the circle is labeled Rosetta Stone Eruption. Text, Scientists hope to better predict solar eruptions that pose a threat to astronauts, technology, and Mars. A translucent spherical eruption.
